6. About community contribution activities
Participating in Yamaage Festival
We have been participating in Yamaage Festival in Nasukarasuyama since 2018, where our Tochigi Factory is located.This festival was registered as a UNESCO Intangible cultural heritage in 2016.
We have workshops and sales of “Chigiri-e” using our masking tape.
We interact with locals and deepen mutual understanding with them.
Reuse of closed school as our 2nd Factory(Egawa Factory)
On 30 March, 2017, we acquired the former Egawa Elementary School site from Nasukarasuyama, Tochigi Prefecture and our 2nd Factory has been built in this site.
By making effective reuse of abandoned local facilities, we deepen a relationship with local governments.
Local employment promotion
At the factories, we offer workplace place visit to local high school students.We promote the employment of people with disabilities.
